Welcome to the Royal Navy & Royal Marine Ex Boxers' Association Website.

RN-RMEBA Website Postal AddressThis site is still in constant development, and may up-date it's-self even during your visit...
The Association was started in the late 1970's by Navy boxer Gordon McBride...

..... to keep in contact with his boxing friends from the highly successful Royal Navy Squad, which dominated service boxing during that era. Our Association is now the most successful ex service sports association, with its own President, Chairman and Committee.

Gordon's sterling efforts enabled the Association to grow into what it is today, now boasting over 100 members! Our Annual Reunion, usually held over a May weekend in Portsmouth, has proved very popular over the years. The Association works closely with the Royal Navy Boxing Association, and we particularly wish to to attract those boxers, coaches and officials who are aware of our Association, but for various reasons have not yet joined. Also those recent, and even current competitors, whom of course will one day become ex Navy Boxers themselves.

Our Association, and its website aim to further the health, wellbeing and welfare of its members; To ensure Navy Boxing remains at the forefront of service sport; and encourage those who have competed, coached and officiated at Navy level and above....
And to keep in touch with their friends within their service life and beyond.
